Topshop lipsticks are allegedly made by the same manufacturers as the MAC lipsticks, which may be one way to describe the huge amount of exact dupes the Topshop Lipstick Collection holds. Top quality lipsticks but at a slightly more purse friendly price of £8, plus student discount ofc. I have a small collection, which I absolutely love and I have my eye on plenty more of shades in the line.
My collection contains six lipsticks, ranging from the palest of nudes to the deep dark purple shades with the odd bright red somewhere in the middle. Three of these are in limited edition packaging, which I absolutely love the gold makes them that extra bit more special. I do love the fun and simple designs of the Topshop Beauty packaging in general, although it does get dirty very quickly.
Nevada, a pale nude shade which a glossy finish. Personally I find that this looks best worn with a slightly darker lip liner, as I am so pale and this is so pale. However on tanned skin it looks so much better, and doesn't wash you out as much.
Mink, my favourite of them all and everyday lip colour. This is the perfect nude for me, pinkish brown undertones making it very flattering and the satin finish is perfect for comfort but also with the longevity you get from a matte lipstick.
Ohh La La, a bright coral orange. Perfect for the summer, for that pop of colour. Very creamy, again with a satin finish this looks beautiful on tanned skin.
Rio Rio, a statement red. Perfect all year round, to add a really bright pop of colour. Like all Topshop lipsticks, this lasts really well and fades evenly.
The Damned, a true purple with a slight pink undertone, applies slightly less dark than in the bullet making it really wearable. With a slight gloss finish it is really comfy on the lips, and again can be applied an then blotted for a sheer wash of colour.
Beguiled, a dark deep purple. Perfect for a bold makeup look, with a satin to matte finish this looks strikingly stunning on the lips and really adds to a look.
Topshop lipsticks are top quality, and they have such a huge range of colours and finishes. Although I would much prefer it if, like MAC they said the finish on them or were displayed by finish as if you don't test them out its hard to know. I have linked a huge range of the lipsticks below, and the first few are the ones mentioned in this post. I would recommend searching for swatches as the colours on the Topshop website aren't always that exact.
