Blogmas Day 7 || Winter Lip Picks

Winter is my favourite lip colour season, I absolutely love dark berry lips, bright reds and the odd purple here and there. I have picked out a few of my favourties to share with you today, there is one for every budget and you should be able to find something for everyone in this selection.

Starting off with these three lovely lippies from Topshop, working top to bottom first up we have The Damned which is a lighter pink toned purple shade. It looks quite bright in this picture and slightly fluorescent, which it isn't but much more wearable for anybody who is more comfortable with pink shades. Beguiled is a much darker berry purple shade, with a slight metallic shimmer running through it but nothing to put you off or that makes it unwearable. Rio Rio is a classic red, and ideal for the holiday season. Topshop lipsticks are so comfortable to wear, and have really good lasting power.
Kat Von D may be a little trickier to get hold off, however I bought this set in America and it came with one full sized limited edition lipstick which is in the shade Gold Blooded. A true red, with gold shimmer running through it, however once applied to the lips its more like a red shimmer because of the red of the lipstick. A slightly different approach to the classic red lipstick. Wolvesmouth is a metallic purple shade, an absolutely beautiful shade without being too crazy. The metallic finish looks beautiful, without being too in your face. Lastly Bachelorette which is a berry pink leaning towards red lipstick, a very everyday shade and ideal for anybody who's not quite prepared to go all out with a bright red or dark purple.
We all know my love for the ColorDrama Lip Pencils, starting off with Red Essential a deep red with a velvet finish and is so easy to apply in the pencil form. Light It Up is a much brighter true red, and again has a velvet finish. Berry Much is a beautiful purple berry shade, and I don't want to go on too much about these products because this time last year its all I talked about! Nars Cruella is a deep red shade, with a matte finish and I am telling you these Nars Lip Pencils are everything they are hyped up to be- I literally want to own them all. Topshop Get Me Bodied is very similar to Maybelline Berry Much, it has a matte finish and is a beautiful berry shade and I love how easy it is to apply to.
Three matte lipsticks from MAC, starting with Stone a slightly more alternative winter lip pick, a greyish brown nude shade but one which I have fallen in love with and maybe one to try if you don't like dark berrys and red shades. Diva has been a favourite of mine since I bought it, I cannot get enough of it. A dark red berry shade it is my ultimate winter lip colour. Lastly MAC Barbecue, Limited Edition I'm sorry but it is a bright, true, matte red and for any of you who own this Christmas is the ideal time to crack it out.

What's your favourite winter lip pick? Do you own any of these?
