Getting That Golden Glow

This wasn't initially intended to be a blog post, I took this photo for my instagram but loved it so much and wanted to write more about these gorgeous highlighters that I simply had to write a blog post to share with you all. With the sun finally making an appearance in England, kind of. I'm reaching for the more golden, glowing from within shades which are of course still bold and can be built up for a more intense pop of highlight.

I have been going on and on about the Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold, a beautiful glowing from within highlighter. Possibly the most subtle out of the three of these highlighters however it can be built up. It is such a finely milled powder it really is like a glow from within and looks so diffused on the skin, perfect for everyday or just to add a touch of glowiness to your skin.

Topshop Glow Pot in Gleam is a beautiful cream highlight, literally my new obsession after Sarah Ashcroft introduced me to it on her makeup tutorials. Its the perfect base for a really bright highlight, but also if your all about the cream products its a beautiful golden shade which blends amazingly on the skin.

MAC Oh Darling! is such a beautiful, but really bright and in your face gold highlighter. You do have to be careful that you blend it out properly or you can be left with a steak of gold on your cheeks, however once blended its such a beautiful shade which would look especially amazing on a tanned skin tone but I can get it to work on my pale ghost like complexion.

I freakin' love all of these highlighters, and wear at least one every time I wear makeup. I have been known to wear all three at once, when you want to be glow-ing. I have linked these products, as well as some other golden highlighters below for you guys to check out.
