Beauty Crowd is a new online shopping destination for all you makeup lovers, stocking a variety of brands including some American brands such as Milani, LA Girl and Fairydrops to name a few. Bell Cosmetics is included in this extensive list of brands, a brand which I hadn't heard of before selling a range of affordable cosmetics specially designed for any of you with sensitive skin but of course suitable for anyone. I have the complete collection of Bell Hypoallergenic Eyeshadows*, to share with you as well as a complete set of swatches.
This is a collection of eyeshadows which are hypoallergenic and this means that they are specially designed for people with sensitive eyes, and also ideal for contact wearers. As well as this they are completely cruelty free brand, such an added bonus although not essential for everyone. The eyeshadows are really creamy because of the jojoba oil in the formula, so easy to apply with minimal fallout and such a long lasting finish on them. I always use a base before applying eyeshadow but these do not crease at all and of course blend out really well, leaving you with a really seamless effect. Packaged individually in very simple packaging, each shadow comes with a sponge applicator, which I personally don't get a lot of use out of but for packing on colour it works fine.
As you can see from the swatches above the aren't extremely pigmented, however they are buildable and a few of the shades are just soft colours, but with a base underneath it does also intensify the colours. Also these are exactly heavily swatched, so keep that in mind! The shadows have a shimmery finish, but aren't at all glittery and free from any chunks of sparkle. These shadows are great for a quick and subtle wash over the lids, with maybe a bit of definition in the crease and along the lash line. However if your looking for a really deep, pigmented look these may not be the shadows for you because they are more of a subtle colour with nothing too bright or in your face.
Overall I think for the very affordable £3.95 these shadows are good, especially if your looking for more of a one wash colour just to add something to your look. If your looking for cruelty free makeup, or have sensitive eyes then this may be a brand which you want to try out.
Have you tried anything from Bell Cosmetics? What is your favourite eyeshadow brand?
