I used to do these posts every month, encouraging myself to switch up my makeup bag and get the most use out of the majority of my makeup collection. Although I do still switch up my makeup, rediscover old favourties and try numerous new products out I just haven't been blogging about it each month. So this is my current everyday makeup routine, or October's Makeup Bag if you prefer.
Base | I always moisturise before applying makeup, so to begin with I go straight in with my foundation. Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation, a medium to full coverage foundation which looks amazing on the skin and gives you such a flawless finish. Perfect for the colder months where you might be looking for a slightly heavier, less dewy base. As always for concealer I use my MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, to conceal and highlight under my eyes and any blemish which I may have. MAC Studio Sculpt Defining Powder to set the concealer, however I try not to powder much of my face to avoid the foundation looking cakey or patchy on my already very dry skin.
Brows | This never changes, MAC Brow Gelcreme to define, shape, and fill in my brows and then on top the L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper to ensure they stay in place all day. I also use the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer again to define my eyebrows, erase any mistakes and hide any out of place hairs.
Eyes | I haven't been very adventerous with my eye makeup recently, relying on my Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette for a simple everyday look. Prepping my eyes with the MAC Paint Pot in painterly and then using a mixture of Foxy and Walk of Shame (w.o.s) all over my lid, Naked 2 a bit like a transition colour in the crease and then Faint to define the crease and outer corner, as well as running a little bit of this under the eye. Instead of eyeliner I have been using Crave smudged into the lash line to add a bit of definition but nothing too fancy. As a mascara Topshop Doe Eyed Lashes has been amazing, full review coming soon!
Face | To finish of my face, MAC Bronzing Powder in Matte Bronze has been my go to bronzer to add loads of warmth to my face and bring some shape back. Maybelline Master Sculpt to contour, and MAC Soft and Gentle to highlight. These are my favourite steps and without them my face feels weird, it may seem a bit crazy for everyday makeup but I love it!
Lips | No fuss on my lips on an everyday basis, just a simple lip balm to keep them hydrated throughout the day.
What products have you been using day to day lately? Have you tried any of these products?
