My career options are something which I have never really spoken about on my blog, something I never wanted to publicly share. Not because it was particularly embarrassing, or something which had to be kept secret but more because it wasn't guaranteed and what if I didn't get in? It's hard enough having to explain to just about every friend of the family that although you said that's what you wanted to do, you can't because you weren't excepted.
None of you will know this, but that did happen. I didn't get accepted, and I have no bad feelings, I'm not even particularly bothered or sad, I'm just very excited. I hate rejection, or not being good enough, especially when you work hard for it but now I can literally do anything, all the things I have dreamed of doing, all the places I have dreamed of going, I can do it and I have commitments, for the first time in my life stopping me.
Fast forward to the 22nd June and I will be free from school for the very last time, I have no university to get back for and so far I have no job committed to as of yet. I also have absolutely no plans of what do, and the more I think about it the more excited I am for the endless amounts of possibilities which are ahead of me, the opportunities and the potential adventures which I could be doing.
I don't want a typical 'gap year' I just want it to be my life, I'm not having a break for a year to then come back to something because I don't have anything at the moment that I'm committed to getting back for.
The one thing I know for sure is that I want to blog all of this, I am torn between starting a separate blog all about travel and anything related to that, or continuing on this blog just introducing more travel into it. Let me know what you think, or what you would prefer as I know a lot of you are only interested in the makeup posts.
I am so excited for this new adventure to begin, and to be able to share it with you guys.

Love this! I'm the same as in Im not in a permanent career kind of job, so I know I can do and go where I want without worrying about major commitments. Good that you can stay positive about it too!

DeleteThis is such a brave post!! As I'm trying to tackle the acting world, I know exactly whar you mean! I had the idea of separating my blog in regards to my mental health but everyone seemed to love the idea of keeping everything together! I'd love to see all your travel plans/ideas on here!! :D
