5 Things Which Make Me Happy

Despite my mood, everyday there are things which I am grateful for, which make me happy. Today I have complied a list of five things which currently make me happy, small petty things and rather more sentimental meaningful things. Regardless of how big or small, they all mean something and put a smile on my face. I'm challenging myself to think of at least five things daily, which are making me happy and I am grateful for and you guys should do the same.

1. I've finished school. Finally, one of the things which has caused me the most down days and sad nights is completed, and I've officially finished the education system. Despite this though I am still very passionate about educating myself, in things which I want to know and have a genuine passion in and also all those boring things which I should have been taught at school i.e learning to adult.

2. My highlight is brighter than my future. Metaphorically of cause, but today my highlight is slay-ing. And that makes me very happy. It's the small things.

3. The gym. Oh yes, I said it and nobody would of guessed it but joining the gym is one of the best decisions I have made and I just don't understand why I didn't do it sooner. Being on study leave, and being able to gym daily although at times is a challenge gives you the best feeling and I am feeling so much better because of it.

4. My family, I am very aware than in less than two months time I will be leaving them and my home for an entire year, which although is one massive huge exciting adventure also is sort of hard to comprehend, not being able to be physically with them for such a long amount of time. I am making sure to really make the most of this time before I go, spending as much time as possible doing day to day activities with them as I know this is what I will miss the most once I am gone.

5. Flossie, the dog. One of the things in my life which never fails to bring a smile to my face, I am well and truly dog obsessed and I have no shame. I am very attached, and leaving her may be even more of a challenge then leaving my family behind but there is something about how loyal, loving and cute she is that brings a smile to my face a lot. Check my instagram for the over obsessive dog owner photos, be prepared she features a lot!

  5. This is so cute! I remember when I left home and even though it's sad at first, you get used to it - then when you visit home it brings you all closer together!
