 The amount of stress which surrounded me getting my hands on this much lusted after lipstick is a little bit ridiculous, but I am finally a proud owner of the famous Velvet Teddy Lipstick, £15.50. I love a good nude lipstick, I have been looking for the perfect 'everyday' nude, not too pale but not too dark and Velvet Teddy might be the one.

I could spend hours, scrolling through twitter pages showing some of the most amazing destinations and sights of the world. Screenshotting and slowly building an album of destinations which one day I would love to visit. I want to see as much as this beautiful world as possible, the hidden areas persevered by the lack of tourists and to meet as many amazing people do as many incredible things as I can. I want to grow up and have loads of stories and memories from all the things I have done, places I have been and people I have met.

 For Christmas I was so lucky to receive a MAC voucher, which I held off spending for ages because I wanted to make sure I got exactly what I wanted instead of just rushing in. This is actually two orders, but to cut a long story short a couple hours after I had made the initial order Velvet Teddy came back into stock and I had to make another order and I also refused to pay postage so I had to buy two extra eyeshadows as well.

While away on holiday I thought it would be prime time to read a book? And what better than keep up with the blogsphere and reading Zoe's new book Girl Online. The day after I bought it all the scandal came out about it being ghost written and so on and I will mention that later on. However ghost written or not, I loved this book so much. I don't read books very often at all, I just stick to blogs and magazines so for me to like a book enough to finish it and write a review is quite something.

 If you follow me on any of my social media you would know that all I want to do is travel, one of my biggest goals in life and over Christmas I was lucky enough to be able to travel round Thailand with my family. I wanted to blog about this in a way which wouldn't be boring for all of you guys, I want to incorporate more travel posts in my blog and hopefully as I get older I will be doing a lot more travelling to blog about. New Year, New Me is a classic beginning of the year saying which you hear all around the place and I try not to use it if I'm honest but I thought it would be quite fitting for this title.
