Lets be honest Gabby from VelvetGh0st made me buy it, but good job she did because The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter is all its made up to be. I love hot cloth cleansers, and have wanted to try a cleansing butter for ages and since using this I now want to try loads more, so leave any recommendations below.
It comes in a tin with a screw lid, and looks like a solid butter with a slightly waxy look to it. (The muslin cloth doesn't come with it) I love the packaging which it comes in, I think it looks nice as well as being practical. Personally, I think it would benefit from being sold with a muslin cloth, because although it suggests that you could remove it with warm water I think that using a cloth makes it much more effective and gives you a deeper cleanse and more thorough clean. When your applying it to your face you really don't need that much at all, and it melts into your skin. It does amazingly at melting away any makeup I have on, even any eye makeup and waterproof mascara. Currently I don't really have a set skincare routine, but now I really feel like I should make an effort to find some products which work perfectly with this product and build up a proper routine. The Body Shop of course is against animal testing, something which I do like in makeup products although I know in a lot of cases not all of my makeup is cruelty free. It costs £12, which I think is a good price especially since online The Body Shop seem to have a constant stream of deals on so always worth a look.
This product has got me back in cleansing and I think its such a nice thing to do at the end of the day, leaving you skin feeling pure and fresh overnight.
What's your favourite cleanser? Have you tried this one?
