Beauty|| Contouring Routine

Since I mentioned about how much I love contouring with cream products in my January Favourites post I have had so many comments about it. So I thought I would talk you through the products I use, as well as the brushes.
Once I have applied my foundation and my concealer, to highlight areas of my face as well as conceal. I will use Mayeblline Fit Me foundation in 355, it doesn't have to specifically be this foundation but any darker concealer or foundation will do. I use the pointed kabuki brush, which I got from the Ebay set which everyone seems to have. I apply a tiny amount of the foundation under my cheekbones, just on the outside first and then blend it out blending it upwards as well as slightly more forwards. Be careful not to drag it to far into the center of the face, making sure its well blended. Then with a tiny bit more, or whatever is left on the brush I add the dark foundation round my temples and blend as well.
Using the Real Techniques Blush Brush and the Soap and Glory Solar Powder, I swirl the brush around in both shades and then go over when I had previously contoured, except this isn't as precise and blends it out even more. As well as adding extra colour to my face, making it look more natural.
Then either with the Real Techniques Contour Brush or the little brush I got in my Hoola Bronzer, I contour even more with either the Bahama Mama Bronzer or just the dark shade from the Solar Powder and go back in where I used the cream, just to darken it up under my cheekbones.

Seems a bit extreme to use all of those products just to contour, but I wouldn't say I do it everyday. And I often miss out the last step, but if I want a nice defined contour this is how I would do it!

    1. I love my Hoola bronzer, I have hit pan though so I am a bit more picky about when I use it because I wouldn't want it running out any time soon! xx

  3. I need to up my contouring game, like seriously. I've been trying to contour with the RT stippling brush swished in the Bourjois chocolate bronzer and blended out with the RT powder brush... it's a pathetic attempt and I could really do with reading some guidance on pinterest!
