I have a love hate relationship with powder, not having oily skin means that I don't need to wear powder religiously but I do still need to set concealer, along with wanting to mattifying my skin as well as insuring it lasts all day. However because I do not need to wear powder all that much, it can end up looking very cakey on my skin. Long story short I needed a powder that wouldn't go cakey but still worked in ensuring my makeup won't budge. Hello MAC MSF Natural.
The powder is really light on the skin, and although it does have a colour to it this doesn't make all that much of a difference I just guessed what shade I would be and it works really well, for both setting under my eyes and the rest of my face. I think I am going to pick up the lighter shade so that I have a lighter colour to set under my eyes but for now this will work fine. It is so smooth and buttery, making it so nice to apply. It didn't go at all cakey on my skin, and lasts for ages. I don't have particularly oily skin so powder isn't something which I top up during the day- unless its a particularly long one! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a setting powder, but if you are looking for something which adds a whole lot more coverage this probably isn't the one for you however if its simply for setting your makeup and adding a tad of colour this is perfect.

My favourite MAC powder has to be the Studio Careblend powders. If you have dry skin, this is the one to go for! I might go out and buy this powder though for during summer as it looks lighter than Careblend. Great post!
