MAC Pro Longwear Concealer Review

I have never splurged on a concealer, and recently just haven't been able to find what I am looking for in the drugstore. So of course, I turned to MAC knowing that they must have something to offer. After doing a bit of research MAC Prolongwear Concealer seemed to be the one.

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer is £17, which is definitely quite pricey for 9ml and this isn't something which I will be using on a daily basis as its not something I can afford to be repurchasing constantly. I have the shade NC15 as I am using this mostly under my eyes so wanted something which would brighten as well as conceal. The product is amazing, covers dark circles really well as well as blemishes and lasts for ages. I normally blend this in with my ring finger, although I have used a brush and its worked just as well, blends out seamlessly and leaves an amazing finish once blended out. The only problem with this product is the packaging, specifically the pump which pumps way too much product, with one full pump I could probably cover my whole face. However if you do a half pump, you can manage to control this a bit more but it can be tricky at times. I always set my concealer with powder, and it really does stay put all day. I absolute love this concealer and am so happy that I finally invested in a higher end concealer, its worth the money.

  1. I honestly DESPISED this concealer! I rarely ever see people who do not like this haha. I think because I genetically have VERY bad under eye discolouration that it just wasn't enough :( Glad you liked it though

  2. Overly generous pumps are so so annoying, I always end up wasting so much product :( I'm glad you like the concealer though, hopefully they'll update the packaging and make the pump better x

  3. All the concealers I own are drugstore, but I`ll definitely splurge some day. I want to try this and the foundation, I read so many great reviews about them. Until then though, I must stick with Collection 2000 and Rimmel Wake Me UP.

  4. I've never tried any MAC concealers, although this sounds lovely! The only thing I don't really like is concealers which have a pump - I prefer them to have a wand so I can control how much I use. At the moment i'm using NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and I really love that.

  5. This is my go to concealer, its amazing. I also have NC15 as i use it to highlight and conceal. I use this everyday with around half a pump and its lasted me just over 2 months which i think is pretty good x

    1. I love it, and once I have got to grip with controlling how much I use each time I find it easier to use! Perfection for highlighting and concealing as you say xx

  6. I have never tried this before but I am running out of my current concealer, so will have to go and test it out, the pump might be a bit of a pain though. Apart from the Collection Concealer, I adore the Laura Mercier undercover pot!
